The Durham Banquet Hall and Conference Center is located within the Best Western Plus Hotel in Oshawa. With our two banquet halls on either side of the lobby, we are able to provide guests with an all in one experience. Discounted hotel room rates, ample parking, two separate halls for events and more! Our East Hall can accommodate up to 200 guests and our West Hall can accommodate up to 130 guests. Our West Hall also features a built in bar, creating an intimate space in the hall for special occasion celebrations that all your guests will enjoy!

Pelican Events and Catering has been in business for over 45 years. With a seamless transition in 2005, the company underwent new ownership. In 2010 Pelican opened their wholesale bakery Pelican Fine Desserts and Pastries and in 2013 welcomed Durham Banquet Hall and Conference Center to the Pelican family.
Executive Chef Kumar Muraleetharan has traveled the world over the past 34 years, working in 5 star hotels such as Sheraton, Hyatt & Hilton. Honing his skills for fine dining and quality for large and small groups alike. Let your taste buds delight in his culinary expertise.
